Alexander Burmistrov will remain in the KHL

According to Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun it appears that Alexander Burmistrov will be staying in the KHL next season to honour the second year of his contract with Ak Bars Kazan.

Shouldn’t come as much of a surprise considering the money is likely better over there and here he would be relegated to playing third line centre.
