  • Puck Daddy calls the Spitfires win “inspirational”.
  • In case this was missed yesterday, the NHL might bump up the Stanley Cup finals start date to accommodate the potentially short series’. A little extra summer won’t hurt anyone, good idea by the NHL.
  • The rink in Selkirk, MB has been transformed to resemble a 1950’s arena for the Don Cherry biopic. In related news, hundreds of people showed up to be extra’s in the film. This should be an interesting film!
  • Al Cimaglia says that even with some suspect officiating, the Hawks didn’t do themselves any favours. I think this is best chalked up as a learning experience for the young Hawks.
  • Lots of rumours from Spector this week, including stops in Anaheim and Washington.
  • Taking Note is reporting, via the Leader-Post, that the Regina Pats have hired their ex-coach, Curtis Hunt.
