Note II: The Moose are back to their winning ways on the road led last night led by another solid goaltending performance of Connor Hellebuyck who made 26 of 26 saves. Austen Brassard has a three game points streak and is currently sporting a shooting percentage of about 23%. Both he and Scott Kosmachuk picked up their 13th goals of the season.

CBC: Scheifele eager to lead the Winnipeg Jets youth movement. Scheifele has spoken about growing as a player and part of that is recognition that he has to go up against other top centres in the NHL in order to grow as a player.
Illegal Curve: Nikolaj Ehlers out indefinitely with eye injury. Expecting further news today from the Jets coach on the length of time that the Jets rookie will be out of the lineup.

Illegal Curve: JC Lipon recalled. He was getting ready for a pair of games in Texas but with news that Anthony Peluso and Nikolaj Ehlers were out the Jets called JC Lipon back to Winnipeg.

Illegal Curve: Kyle Connor’s point streak hits 20 games; continues to lead NCAA in scoring. It wasn’t all bad news yesterday for Jets fans. Hobey Baker seems to be a lock for the Jets 2015 1st round pick whose point streak continues at 20 games.
