Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Meticulous Maurice looks to build winner out of ever-changing parts.  The Jets bench boss has a few spots to fill this season and sounds like he feel confident that he will find them from within the organization.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets fans have obstructed view.  Fans took to social media to let the Jets know they are not happy with some of the upgrades which they feel have diminished their viewing experience.

Winnipeg Sun:  Austrian forward Thomas Raffl an intriguing player on PTO in Jets training camp.  Better he should take the risk and fail then have to live with the knowledge that he never tried at all.

ESPN:  Raffl just one of the intriguing storylines at Jets camp.  Plenty to read in this piece including talk of Raffl, Burmistrov, Ladd/Byfuglien as well as Scheifele and Trouba.

Illegal Curve:  Jets re-assign 11 players.  They went from 55 to 44 at training camp.  Eight players are heading to Manitoba Moose camp with the three others off to their respective Junior teams.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  Hustler and Lawless.  Dennis Beyak, voice of the Winnipeg Jets, reviewed the first two Jets preseasons games. Beyak discusses the young players that impressed him, and discusses the strong Jets goaltending corps.

TSN 1290 Winnipeg:  The Big Show.  Paul Edmonds touched on Ben Chiarot’s improved play, the young roster brought to Edmonton, and what Adam Lowry can progress into as he enters his second NHL season.
