Today on TSN 1260 Edmonton 2014 1st round pick Nikolaj Ehlers was interviewed on The Pipeline Show with Dean Millard and Guy Flaming. The chat ranged from the World Junior A challenge to whether he is paying attention to what is happening in Winnipeg to playing in Halifax.
In response to the question about paying attention to what is happening in Winnipeg, Nikolaj Ehlers made an interesting comment:
“I’ve been trying to watch every single game. I’m following them a lot. Trying to look at the system obviously. Trying to learn how they play and all that because I want to play there next year. It is exciting to see how well they are doing right now. It’s amazing. I feel really good and I’m trying to watch every single game.”

Sure sounds like the Dashing Dane is keeping his eyes on Winnipeg and it will be interesting to see what happens with him next summer.
