Note: We are now at day 18 of training camp and while the team didn’t hit the ice yesterday there was plenty of action from the management of the Jets. USA Today: Jets preview – Last in Central. It isn’t difficult to figure out where Kevin Allen is picking your Winnipeg Jets when you see that headline. Usual preview fare including additions, subtractions, goaltending, analysis, breakthrough candidate, youngster to watch, what the team really need, key question and forecast.
TSN: Budaj requested a trade out of Montreal. Obviously he saw the writing on the wall in Montreal and this is a better opportunity to fight for a chance at a #1 goalie spot and a back-up role.
Illegal Curve: Jets re-assign seven players from training camp. Not much of a surprise as the Jets made some moves on Sunday.

The Telegram: IceCaps might get another goalie out of Tangradi trade. Interesting that the Bulldogs and IceCaps happened to be in the same building when the trade went down. Made it easier for Tangradi and Holland to switch teams.
