Jets news:
Winnipeg Free Press: A real stand-up guy. Goal scoring isn’t the only thing that a player can do to have an impact although it clearly is important. Wheeler has had such a big impact the last ten games that it would be difficult to know that he hasn’t scored very many during this stretch.
Winnipeg Sun: Plenty to play for even if they miss the playoffs. Not one player on this team will suggest that they are playing for anything other than a playoff spot. While it continues to be a tall mountain to climb (Coyotes now in 8th six points up on Jets with one game in hand) the push for the playoffs will help to build character of this team.
Winnipeg Sun: Eric O’Dell turning heads thanks to increased ice time. You don’t achieve the level of success he had in the AHL (2012-13: 55 pts in 59 games, 2013-14: 38pts in 39 games) by accident. This doesn’t necessarily mean you are going to dominate at the NHL level but finding success shouldn’t come as a total shocker.
Winnipeg Sun: Jetstream blog. Upon his return from St. Louis late yesterday, Ken emptied his notebook from the Jets quick one game road trip and gives you some insight into tonight’s all important contest against a highly skilled Avalanche team.
TSN Winnipeg: No mailing it in. Former NHL ref turned TSN Analyst Kerry Fraser gives his insight into all the penalties assessed at the conclusion of the Jets and Blues game. He also looks at how the refs were able to call the game if a whistle went to blow the play dead with time on the clock.

ESPN Denver: Canadiens spoil Roy’s return in 6-3 win over the Avalanche. While he was given a hero’s welcome from the Habs faithful, the on ice production of his team wasn’t what he would have preferred as they got handed a big loss last night. Will be surly when they face Winnipeg tonight at the MTS Centre.
Denver Post: Tyson Barrie blossoms as “offensive defenseman”. Another solid young prospect on this unexpectedly high octane Colorado team which now sits 4th in the Western Conference.
