TSN:  Habs Gallagher brought non-calls upon himself.  Former NHL ref turned TSN analyst Kerry Fraser adds his two cents to whether or not the lack of penalties on the play was appropriate or not.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets flying higher and higherIn the first ten games under new coach Paul Maurice the team has eight wins and just two losses.  The Montreal media was asking about the standard ‘new coach’ bump however it would appear that the pulse this team is showing is both strong and quite real.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Hot new audition from MontoyaAchieving his 10th win meant he eclipsed his previous season high win total with plenty of time to still build on his record.

Winnipeg Sun:  Frolik comes through bigWhile GM Cheveldayoff hasn’t made many moves his best one to date was clearly the trade which brought the Czech to Winnipeg.  He has been excellent in all aspects of his game this season and once again showed some flash scoring the game winner.

Winnipeg Sun:  Continuing playoff climb with 2-1 victory over CanadiensWhile many are cautious in using the ‘P’ word the Jets continue to roll on towards a playoff position.  Yesterday’s win put them in a three way tie with Dallas and Nashville for 10th and just four back of 8th place Vancouver.

Winnipeg Sun:  Montoya sharp again as Jets continue torrid paceGoalie controversy time?  Montoya has solid numbers and should probably see more time on ice.

Montreal Gazette:  Gallagher takes beatingNo surprise there was a lot of talk in the room about this play.  I thought it was a brilliant play by Montoya, Bogosian and Trouba to keep him in the zone as he tried to get out so the Habs could try to gain entry.
