News from the hockey world this Tuesday evening:
- The Falconer examines the possibility of the Thrashers trading Ilya Kovalcuk, Kari Lehtonen and Mathieu Schneider before this season’s trade deadline. A full rebuild is in order in Georgia.
- Penguins defenseman Hal Gill is going to miss 2-4 weeks with a shoulder injury. The Pens defense just can’t stay healthy, but with Crosby and Malkin lighting the league on fire, it is hard to notice.
