Jets prospect Adam Lowry named WHL Player of the Year

Jets prospect Adam Lowry, who spent the year with the Swift Current Broncos of the WHL, was announced as Player of the Year.

Jets prospect Adam Lowry, who spent the year with the Swift Current Broncos of the WHL, was announced as Player of the Year.  Lowry had a phenomenal season playing in all 72 games, scoring  45 goals with 43 assists for 88 points.

Once his WHL season finished the Jets moved him to their AHL affiliate St. John’s IceCaps where he signed an amateur tryout contract.  In nine games with the Caps he had one assist, finished a -1 with 14 shots on goal.
