Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets feel they’ve ‘found themselves’Now that they’ve discovered who they are it is time to prove that they can deal with teams on the road.  They certainly need to come away with points from these back-to-back games in Vancouver and Calgary.

The Manitoban:  Picture perfect finishIf you ask any Jets fans, they would likely say that just being back in the NHL has been a dream.  The post season, especially if Winnipeg manages to win the Southeast (and have home ice advantage) would be simply beyond most fans expectations.

Illegal Curve:  Fuelled by Career YearsOne of the big “if’s” coming into the season was whether or not a number of the Jets players, would improve from last year.  Mainly the young core of Wheeler, Kane, Ladd, Little, Byfuglien, Burmistrov, Bogosian and Pavelec would be called on to shoulder the burden if this team was to have success.
