Winnipeg Sun: Jets jerseys pre-order available. Kinda crazy that you will have to wait until October 1st to receive your new Jets jersey. It wouldn’t be such a hardship, if we only had some indication as to what the new jerseys look like.
Winnipeg Sun: New Jets logo grows on you. I’ve spoken with a number of people who initially weren’t fans of the logo, but as time has passed, they’ve come around to it.

Detroit News: Wings’ Kris Draper expected to announce retirement today. If only the Jets could have seen into the future. That is quite a laundry list of achievements.
San Jose Mercury News: Sharks head coach Todd McLellan sticking with his coaching team. With the new players joining the squad, perhaps they wanted to keep part of the team stable.
MSNBC: Gary Bettman received $7.5 million for the 2009/10 season. When comparing him to the other Pro sports commish’s his salary doesn’t seem exorbitant, but he does make more than the next 5 NHL officials combined.
Philadelphia Inquirer: Partying prompted parting? You have to think if this accusation is true and these guys love to party, that Jeff Carter got the short end of the stick (no slight to Columbus, but it doesn’t have quite the same party scene as L.A.).
