Nothing earth-shattering in this chat. Dreger says GMKC is in a position where he “knows he has to listen.” He indicated that teams are calling based on 37’s comments at the end of the season. The conversation then shifts to Winnipeg’s offseason needs (i.e. 2C, D). He wraps it up by saying, “..if the Winnipeg Jets can improve their lineup by adding a number 2 centre, plus, plus, then I think Cheveldayoff is at least willing at this point to consider that.”

My two cents is this gives folks insight into what a potential ask would be from Winnipeg if you want Hellebuyck.
