The Moose were happy to pick up a win in Game 1 on Saturday but they were looking to take a commanding lead by earning a sweep of the two games here in Manitoba before things shift to Michigan for the next three (if necessary) games.

Notable:
Another good crowd on hand here for this contest.
Moose captain Mason Shaw has been buzzing in the playoffs and here he got a great chance shorthanded but no dice.
Griffins had a number of chances to open the scoring but the post was Domenic DiVincentiis friend.
Another big stop as DiVincentiis gets across to make this stop on the PK. But eventually a team with the talent of Grand Rapids will make you pay and they did off this nifty passing play to open the scoring.
Another power play for Grand Rapids and another post to start the 2nd.
Griffins goalie Michal Postava was excellent in this one as he made some beauty saves.
A number of excellent saves this afternoon from DiVincentiis.
For every stop at one end it’s being matched at the other. Postava stops PDG as he can’t quite get all of this Walker Duehr pass.
With just over five minutes remaining the Griffins got the dagger with this ripper.
Not sure what the hell the officials were doing but after Brad Lambert gets punched they let more happen.
The Griffins answer back in Game 2 to even the series 1-1 as they take it 2-0.
