Notable:

We saw Parker Ford in warm-up ahead of the Jets and Kraken and just as puck was ready to drop Winnipeg announced he was loaned back to Manitoba. Huge addition for the Moose before a massive two-game set with the Admirals which starts here tomorrow.

Jacob Bryson was recognized for playing his 300th game in the NHL.

Not a good first goal against the Jets as they employed some Keystone Cop level of D.

They would tie the game courtesy of some serious hand/eye coordination from Jonathan Toews as he scored a power play goal to tie the game. It’s his 10th of the season.

With an assist on the first goal for Winnipeg, Gabriel Vilardi set a new career for assists with 35.  Also four straight seasons for Josh Morrissey to get to the 40 assist mark.

When was the last time the Jets power play scored two goals in a game? They have tonight as Gabriel Vilardi has his 29th of the season. Toews and Scheifele get assists. That means Mark Scheifele at 899 points and up to 95 points in the season.

When was the last time the Jets power play scored three goals in a game? They have tonight as Kyle Connor has his 37th of the season. Morrissey and Scheifele get assists. That means Mark Scheifele at 900 points and up to 96 points in the season.

After the goal Scheifele was honoured by the crowd.

Rookie Brad Lambert scored a beauty to make it a 4-2 game. Also could be the dagger in the playoff aspirations of his uncle Lane’s Kraken team.

And then for extra measure Kyle Connor gets his second of the game (38th of the season) on a beauty pass by Mark Scheifele who picked up his third assist of the game.

Vlad Namestnikov after missing 18 games put home the empty netter to make it a 6-2 game.

With this goal, which turned out to be the game-winning goal, Kyle Connor tied Mark Scheifele for the most GWGs on the all-time Jets list with 65.
