It’s been awhile since Colin Miller has played in a Jets jersey going back to the 1st period of a game on January 11th when he was shaken up after hitting the boards hard. He actually came out to start the 2nd period but would return to the dressing room after testing things out.

He has been appearing in IR skates or at Jets practices of late in a non-contact jersey but the last few days he hasn’t been on the ice. Following morning skate as the Jets get set to take on the Lightning in Winnipeg, head coach Scott Arniel was asked for an update on his status.
“He’s had a setback here so he’s going back to, kinda on a week-to-week thing here. We’ll kinda let him reset here and see where he is at. Check in on him in a week from now.”
Tough news for the veteran defenceman who could have started playing some games if Winnipeg makes any sort of moves tomorrow at the Trade Deadline.
