Note: While Jets defenceman Josh Morrissey didn’t play in the Canada game on Sunday which saw them demolish France by a final score of 10-2, according to TSN’s Ryan Rishaug he was skating earlier in the day which is a good sign as he tries to work himself back into the lineup ahead of the quarterfinals. The Americans also won big yesterday as Connor Hellebuyck made 23 saves on 24 shots to help his team to a 5-1 win over Germany. Wasn’t all good news as Kyle Connor was a healthy scratch.
Note II: The Moose hit the ice on Sunday for some practice as they get ready for the re-match with the Wranglers after Manitoba defeated Calgary by a score of 5-1 on Saturday. The two teams will meet this afternoon in downtown Winnipeg. Puck drop is at 2 PM CST.
Note III: Jets prospect Owen Martin (2025 3rd) had two goals on Sunday in a Spokane win. The Oakbank, Manitoba product was named 1st Star of the Game as he opened the scoring and then tied up the game in the 3rd.

Daily Faceoff: Is dropping Josh Morrissey into the playoffs off of injury a good idea for Canada? Moose news:
