Note: The Jets were down heading into the 3rd period yesterday afternoon in south Florida which, for most of this season, has been a death knell but on Saturday they were able to score twice in the final frame to defeat the Panthers by a final score of 2-1. The team are off today. They’ll be back on the ice tomorrow when they take on the Stars in Dallas.
Note II: Manitoba continued to roll on Saturday after taking three of four from Laval/Grand Rapids (both 1st place teams) the previous two weekends, they opened their two-game set with a 4-1 win over Rockford. It was an excellent team win for the Moose as they improve to 21-15-3-0. They are back in action today at 2 PM CST as they wrap up the final game of the four-game homestand.
Note III: What a game for Jets prospect Kevin He (2024 4th) who finished with a five point night (2G 3A) for Flint. One of the goals was shorthanded and two of the assists were primary.
