Note: The Jets took on the red-hot Lightning last night in Tampa which looked like an even match to start but a hockey game lasts 60 (or more) minutes and by the end the home team had outpaced the visitors en route to a 4-1 victory. Today, they are scheduled to practice in Fort Lauderdale as they get set for tomorrow’s afternoon matinee against the Panthers in Sunrise. Check back for the Practice Report.
Note II: The Moose were off on Thursday after a few days of practice plus an appearance at a Backyard Rink for one lucky Manitoban. They will also hit the ice for practice as they prepare to face the IceHogs in a pair of weekend matinees.
Note III: Last night, Jets prospect Kieron Walton (2024 6th) went up against his old club for the first time and picked up his seventh game-winning goal which moved him into a tie for top spot in the OHL points race.
