  • Ondrej Pavelec was the main reason that Atlanta registered one point in a shootout loss to Montreal yesterday.

  • Brendan Hall of the Boston Globe has some background information on the Bruins’ newest acquisition Daniel Paille.
  • The injury to Milan Lucic and the trade of Chuck Kobasew has resulted in Mark Recchi moving up to the top line in Boston.
  • Recchi was moved to the top line to play with Marc Savard, but word broke early this morning that Savard will be out 4-6 weeks with a broken foot.
