Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Keeping you up-to-date with all the latest pro hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: The Jets looked like they’d kick off the post-Christmas holiday break with a big two points against a division rival but a late penalty and a non-call at the end of the 3rd opened the door to a Wild rally and then an OT win for the visitors. While getting points (three of last five have been OT losses) is better than nothing, this team cannot afford to be losing any extra points. Today, they are set to practice as they get set to face the Oilers tomorrow night. Check back for the Practice Report.

Note II: The Moose remain on holiday hiatus.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun: ‘We’re fed up’: Winnipeg Jets livid after OT loss to Wild. Despite securing points three times in the last five games the Jets have just one regulation win in their last nine. And after the non-call against Josh Morrissey and the late PP goal to send it to extra time, it’s not a surprise this team is pissed off.
