Winnipeg Jets Practice Report

The Jets hit the ice to try to dig themselves out of a brutal slump.

The Jets have just five wins in their last 18 games. And before you ask me if that’s good the answer is no. They added to that miserable figure losing 6-3 last night to the Bruins, a team who won their fourth straight with the victory.

At this point the biggest news is that Connor Hellebuyck is ready to return although yesterday during morning media availability head coach Scott Arniel wasn’t giving any sign his MVP goalie might be good to go soon.

Skate news:

Connor Hellebuyck was getting quite a bit of work in the net today.

After skate concluded Nino Niederreiter was leading stretch as he gets set for his 1000th NHL game tomorrow night. He will be the first Swiss player to get to 1000 games in the NHL.

Lines & D Pairs:

Connor – Scheifele – Iafallo
Niederreiter – Namestnikov – Nyquist
Perfetti – Lowry – Koepke/Pearson
Barron – Toews – Vilardi

Morrissey – Pionk
Samberg – DeMelo
Stanley – Schenn
Fleury – Miller
