Notable:
No Lady Byng for Connor Hellebuyck after he got called for his first penalty of the season. Third straight season that 37 has been called for a minor.
Things got off to a good start on the score sheet for the Jets as Adam Lowry got a puck over to Alex Iafallo who scored for the second straight game to open the scoring.
First Jet to 10 goals is Mark Scheifele who completed this goal off a beauty stretch pass by Neal Pionk.
Hard to believe Kyle Connor hadn’t scored a power play goal since December 23rd, 2024 until tonight when he scored the third goal of the game for Winnipeg to give the visitors a 3-2 lead. He joined 55 as the second player to hit the 10 goal mark.
The Kraken took over on the scoresheet in the 3rd tying the game on the power play early in the final frame and then taking a one goal lead just three minutes later.
It was not Dylan DeMelo‘s finest game as he was missing in action on at least three of the goals against.
An empty netter would seal the deal and drop the Jets to 10-7-0 on the season. This Winnipeg club was a perfect 4-0-0 before they left for this road trip and are now 5-4-0 after dropping four of five.
