Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Keeping you up-to-date with all the latest pro hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: On Friday we learned who made the 55-man training camp roster and the first couple of weeks of the training camp schedule.

Note II: There was Winnipeg Jets hockey last night as the kids were in Montreal to play in the Prospect Showdown. In front of a sold out Bell Centre they got into the game when Danny Zhilkin fired home this shot followed by this highlight reel goal from Chase Yoder to tie it up. Late in the 3rd it was Colby Barlow who showed off his hands to give the visitors their first lead and then Danny Zhilkin’s second of the game with 25 seconds left proved to be the game-winning goal. Impressive 38-save performance from goalie prospect Domenic DiVincentiis. They will conclude the tournament against the Senators prospects tonight at 6 pm.
