Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Keeping you up-to-date with all the latest pro hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: The Jets held an optional practice on Sunday as they prepared for the Sharks today in one of just two home games they’ll play over the next 15 days. Morning skate gets underway at 9:15 AM CST so stay tuned for the pre-game report to ensure you’re up-to-date on the latest. Puck drop is at 6:30 PM CST.

Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and San Jose, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game starting around 9:10 PM CST.

Note III: The Moose were looking for a win yesterday in Toronto over the Marlies. Through 40 minutes both teams had been held without a goal but early in the 3rd the home team scored but the visitors would not stop pushing for the equalizer. They got it off the stick of Dylan Coghlan who beat Matt Murray (it took nine periods for Manitoba to score on the pride of Thunder Bay) as the defenceman got his 8th goal of the season in game 18. A power play carried over into OT for the Moose which saw Brad Lambert feed captain Dominic Toninato who scored the overtime game-winning goal. The Moose are set to practice today in Toronto as they prepare for their next game against Belleville.
