Winnipeg Jets provide less than friendly hospitality to their nice neighbours from Minnesota with 5-0 win over Wild

Recap of the game.

The Jets got contributions up and down the roster, Connor Hellebuyck with a tidy 19-save shutout and they rolled to a 5-0 win over the Wild as they put some ground between themselves and their division rivals. A team they have now beat eight straight times. With the victory Winnipeg improves to 24-10-1 on the season.

Notable:

Morgan Barron got his third goal of the season and first with a goalie in the net.

Two more power play goals for the number 1 units in the NHL. They also went 4/4 on the penalty kill.

Jets captain Adam Lowry left the game in the 3rd but head coach Scott Arniel reported after the game he “should be fine”.

Neal Pionk matched his goal total from last season (5) but does it in 47 fewer games.

That was the 41st shutout of Connor Hellebuyck‘s career.
