Connor Hellebuyck may have heard Patrik Laine’s comments from earlier today as the Vezina winner flashed the leather with a number of nice saves on number 92 including this one early in the 1st.

You may not want Connor Hellebuyck for your softball team but you definitely want him on your hockey team.
Both special teams were good for the Jets as they went 2/6 on the PP and 4/4 on the PK.
With his two assists tonight Josh Morrissey ties Nikolaj Ehlers for 3rd spot on the Jets All-Time assists list with 272. Also Kyle Connor moved ahead of Bryan Little into 4th on Jets/Thrashers All Time points list with 522 (and he got 523 for extra measure).
With the win the Jets improve to 22-9-1 on the season.
