Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Keeping you up-to-date with all the latest pro hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: The Jets hit the ice for a skate on Saturday where they stuck with the tried and true that’s worked for them to get to 10-1-0 with no changes to the lineup. Be sure to check back for the pre-game report for any updates. Puck drop is at 2 PM CDT.

Note II: This afternoon, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Tampa Bay, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game starting around 4:40 PM CDT.

Note III: The Moose had a disappointing weekend which saw them lose on Friday and then again on Saturday as special teams once again proved to be the difference in yesterday’s 4-1 loss. They are off today.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun: Lessons learned from Maple Leafs loss reminder ahead of Tampa test. It will a step up when the Jets do battle with the Bolts and we shall see if they can bring the same consistent effort.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets get their mojo back on two-game road trip. (Paywall). One thing that was noticeable was they didn’t play down to the opponent but rather they played a consistent brand of hockey which has brought them success this season.

The Athletic Winnipeg: Analysing Jets attendance, Cole Perfetti’s position and Nikolaj Ehlers’ minutes: Mailbag, part 2. (Paywall). You had so many questions Murat has a part two of his mailbag.
