The Jets flew to the west coast on Wednesday after starting off their three-game road trip in the Midwest with a 3-2 victory over the Blues which improved them to 6-0-0 on the season. One of the calling cards of this Winnipeg club is they’ve won in a variety of fashions already this season. The special teams have been vastly improved since last year with the power play ranked number 1 in the NHL (watch this video for some great insight as to why they are having success) and even the penalty kill is 15th overall.
They will be going up against a Kraken team that are 4-3-0 after losing on Tuesday to the Avs. While Seattle hasn’t scored quite as much as Winnipeg (three less goals in one more game played) they have given up double the number of goals (10 vs 20). The Kraken have the 19th ranked PP in the NHL and 25th ranked PK.
