Since his assignment back to junior we’ve documented his excellent start to his season in Niagara with the IceDogs. Up until a few games ago he had points in every game for his club and was leading the league in points. His biggest night came back on October 6th when he put up six points (3G 3A) for his hockey team. Six days later he had a three point evening. By October 17th with another three points under his belt he was up to top spot in the OHL for points with 18 (9G 9A).

Today the IceDogs named him the 19th captain in team history.

From the team’s site:

Kevin is the future of our franchise right now. He is our first NHL Draft pick in 6 years and signalizes that we are on the upswing as he is going to lead the next core group of our culture” said Head Coach Ben Boudreau. “Kevin sets the standard of the culture of our group moving forward” Boudreau continued.”

He is next in action on Thursday night when he goes up against Jets 2023 1st rounder Colby Barlow and his Oshawa Generals.
