Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Note: The Jets certainly kicked off the 2024-25 season with a bang defeating the defending Western Conference champion Oilers by a final score of 6-0 in the season opener last night in Edmonton. It was an eyebrow raising performance by the bottom six and Vezina winner Connor Hellebuyck. The PP went 2/3 and they killed the one penalty they took which showed discipline to limit a potent Oilers PP to just one chance. Today is scheduled as a travel day so there is no media availability. They are back on the ice tomorrow as it is a gameday when they welcome the Blackhawks to town for the home opener.

Note III: The Moose will have their final day of practice today in Winnipeg as they continue to prepare for the season opener this weekend in Iowa. They are scheduled to practice at 10:30 AM CDT.
