Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Keeping you up-to-date with all the latest pro hockey news in Manitoba.

Day 11 interviews: In case you missed anything from Sunday we spoke with Dylan Samberg (watch here) as well as head coach Scott Arniel (watch here).

Note: As expected the Jets began Sunday with their second round of training camp cuts although somewhat surprisingly it was limited to five players including 2023 first rounders Colby Barlow (Arniel on him) and Brayden Yager (Arniel on him). The day was spent scrimmaging with the remaining 34 players at camp where we learned that there would be no further cuts yesterday or today. The team is scheduled to be back on the ice today at 10:30 AM so keep it locked for any and all updates.

Note II: The AHL club of Manitoba got their training camp underway on Sunday with testing and today they hit the ice at 10 AM for their first skate of the 2024-25 pre-season. We knew the schedule and now we know the 27 player roster who will start this camp.
