The Hockey News: Top issues facing the Winnipeg Jets. He’s got them as: 1) Will Nikolaj Ehlers be with the Jets in 2025? 2) Can the Jets meet expectations after last season’s fourth-place finish in the standings? and 3) Will Winnipeg have a point-per-game player this season?

The Athletic: One-on-one with Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff: ‘We still have some work to get done’. (Paywall). Some interesting nuggets in this piece including Scott Arniel wondering whether they needed to send Elias Salomonsson back to Europe last summer, not rushing prospects like Barlow/Yager, with Ehlers his attitude is “what’s best for the Jets to win”, a Neal Pionk extension could happen if he regains form/also he played with broken foot all season long two years ago and he sees Kyle Connor as part of the long-term vision of Winnipeg.

Sportsnet: Cole Perfetti’s summer golf tour. The Jets prospect may give Ken Wiebe of the Free Press a run for his summer golf tour money hitting the links that often during a summer as written about in point 11 of this article.
