It has been quite the calendar year for Jets goalie prospect Thomas Milic. He concluded the 2022-23 season winning the WHL championship with the Seattle Thunderbirds, was drafted by Winnipeg in the 5th round of the 2023 draft and began his pro journey last October when he signed an AHL deal with the Moose for the season.
He would get his feet wet in the ECHL with the Norfolk Admirals before a November recall. He spent some time with Team Canada in December at the Spengler Cup before heading back to Norfolk. He would be recalled by Manitoba in late January and go on quite the run.
Milic was named AHL Player of the Week in March as he helped the Moose turnaround their season. He went 19-9-2 with the Moose as the Jets 2023 5th rounder brought a winning attitude from his time in Seattle to Manitoba. This is what Moose bench boss Mark Morrison said about him at the exit meetings this week:

Not a big surprise that the Jets signed him as they continue to see big things out of the BC product signing him to a three-year entry-level contract with an AAV of $841,700.00
