CBC: Jets unlikely to fly away again, experts in pro sports say. The part I’ve been talking about for some time is the amount of investment this organization has made in downtown which, without an NHL franchise, doesn’t have nearly the cache/value as it does with it.
Global News: NHL commissioner’s stop in Winnipeg carries extra weight amid attendance woes. It is somewhat curious that he picked a Tuesday night in February to attend this game and while it may have been selected awhile ago since he likes to stop in at various arenas throughout the season it does have the potential to be a bit embarrassing to the organization if it’s a soft crowd. Perhaps Winnipeggers will see this as a challenge to sell out the game as a result.

TSN: Bowness hopes move to right wing will help spark struggling Perfetti. Cole Perfetti has been held pointless in each of his last 13 games which prompted head coach Rick Bowness to try him on the right, in an effort to ‘keep him in the lineup.’ Bowness said the coaching staff has been working with him on the areas of his game he needs to improve.
