The Moose came into this game on a 6-2-1 run after playing nine games on the road and returned to Winnipeg ready to kick off six straight in Manitoba. Only problem for them was their first opponent in Milwaukee came into the game undefeated in 2024 with a 15-0-0 record.

The team remains healthy so they did the line swap for the second straight game. This time it was Daniel Torgersson, Wyatt Bongiovanni, and Danny Zhilkin coming out while Nicholas Jones, C.J. Suess & Henri Nikkanen came back in.

Moose got off to a very good start which included a great chance by Ville Heinola and they held a 5-1 shot advantage early in the 1st.
However the Admirals aren’t undefeated in 2024 by accident and they took advantage of a line change by the Moose to open the scoring on just their second shot of the game when Phil Tomasino (a player I thought Winnipeg might draft in 2019) ripped this shot pass Thomas Milic.
From a 5-1 shot edge for the home team became a 6-5 advantage to the visitors after 20 minutes and included the only goal of the game to that point.
Milwaukee continued to apply the pressure in the middle frame and despite plays like this one by Ville Heinola to break up a 2 on 1 it was almost all Admirals in the first half of that period.
Manitoba tried to get something going flipping wingers (Chibrikov and AJF) and while they did generate a bit more they couldn’t solve Yaroslav Askarov on the six shots they took that period while Thomas Milic was up to the task making 14 saves in that second frame.
The visitors broke the game open in the 3rd outshooting the home team 10-3 and more importantly adding three more goals (Goal 2 | Goal 3 | Goal 4) to take it 4-0.
Home ice continues to not be kind to the Moose as they lose to the Admirals 4-0 to fall to 5-15-1-0 at Canada Life. Milwaukee wins their 16th straight game and remain undefeated in 2024.
