Jets fell to 30-10-5 as they came out like a team on fire, continued that despite losing Josh Morrissey before the Leafs used five consecutive power plays to regain some momentum. Ultimately the game went to OT where both teams had chances before Auston Matthews finished it off with his 39th goal of the season. They continue to have an excellent record against the East with the OTL of 13-1-4.

No Mark Scheifele and no Gabriel Vilardi.
Winnipeg got off to an excellent start and kept that momentum going throughout the opening period of play outshooting Toronto 16-4 after 20 minutes. They did lose Josh Morrissey to a blocked shot late in the 1st which sent him down the tunnel and being done for the night.
The Leafs were able to regain some momentum in the middle frame after the Jets took three straight penalties.
The parade to the penalty box continued for the visitors as they were given two more in the 3rd which gave the home team five straight power plays but the Jets PK continued to respond.
The power play continues to be a struggle for Winnipeg as they got a pair of opportunities late in the game but they were unable to capitalize.
Another excellent game by Laurent Brossoit.
