Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Your source for all the latest hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: All good things must come to an end and that’s just what happened last night as the Jets win streak, points streak and undefeated in regulation record against the East all concluded with their 2-0 loss to the Flyers at Canada Life. The team is off today as they get some much needed time away from the ice.

Note II: Unlike their NHL counterparts the AHL club of Manitoba is mired in a losing streak that has now hit seven games as they fell 4-1 to the Rocket yesterday afternoon in Laval. They got Ville Heinola back for his first game which showed off his passing, he picked up an assist on their only goal of the game and he had his pocket picked for an empty netter. In the 3rd Jets prospect Brad Lambert was absolutely levelled which caused him to leave the game. They are off today.
