The Jets run their win streak to four games as they defeat the Ducks 4-2 to improve to 16-8-2 and puts them atop the Central division. Of course the win did come with a cost as Kyle Connor left the game in the 2nd period and did not return.

Notable:
The Jets had two power plays in the opening 20 minutes but couldn’t solve Gibson. Other than that it was a ho hum period of hockey.
Some bad news for Winnipeg in the 2nd period as Kyle Connor left the game after he took a knee-on-knee by Ryan Strome which caused 81 to lie on the ice for some time. The team announced shortly thereafter that he was done for the night.
While Winnipeg couldn’t do anything with the man advantage Anaheim was able to with Alex Killorn putting home the opening goal of the game with Neal Pionk in the box.
After going down 2-0 it was Nino Niederreiter who brought the Jets within one with his seventh goal of the season. All seven goals have been scored on the road.
About four minutes later Morgan Barron who banged home the game tying goal past John Gibson as he scores his fifth of the season.
Gabriel Vilardi scored with 1:42 left in the 3rd as he tipped home the Josh Morrissey shot to give Winnipeg a late lead. That was his first goal as a member of the Jets.
Mark Scheifele finished things off with an empty netter which was his ninth goal of the season.
Josh Morrissey played over 30 minutes in the game.
