Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Your source for all the latest hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: The Jets took Sunday off after their 3-1 win over the Blackhawks on Saturday afternoon. Tonight they will play the final game of their homestand against the Carolina Hurricanes. With it being a gameday all eyes will be on morning skate which gets underway at 10:30 AM CST. All the relevant news will be posted in the pre-game report so check back for that. Puck drop is at 6:30 PM CST.

Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Carolina, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game.

Note III: The Moose concluded their two-game set yesterday afternoon wearing these impressive RCMP inspired uniforms against the IceHogs with a 3-1 win which gives them victories in three straight games as they got back to .500 at 9-9-0 on the season. It was an impressive start by Manitoba as Jeff Malott got things off to a very good start, followed by another good play which was begun by him and ended by Parker Ford who deflected it home and then the red-hot Wyatt Bongiovanni added some insurance with this snipe upstairs. The team also got very good goaltending from Collin Delia. They are off today.

Note IV: Since I last checked in on Jets goalie prospect Thomas Milic (2023 5th) he’s played three more games (2-1-0) to run his ECHL record with Norfolk to: 7-1-1 with a .916 save% and a 2.21 GAA.
