Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Your source for all the latest hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: The Jets were off on Wednesday after finishing up their three-game road trip with a 2-1-0 record although they did make some news loaning Dominic Toninato to the Moose. They will kick off a five-game homestand this night as they welcome division rival Nashville to town for the first time this season. With it being a gameday all eyes will be on morning skate which gets underway at 10:30 AM CST. All the relevant news will be posted in the pre-game report so check back for that. Puck drop is at 7 PM CST.

Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Nashville, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game.

Note III: The Moose were volunteering at Siloam Mission yesterday as they traded in their hockey gloves for work ones to help out with folks in the community. They are back on the ice today at hockey for all centre as they prepare to face the Laval Rocket.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets flying high after road trip. (Paywall). Mike reflects on the Jets longer than average road trip which lasted eight days. He looks at what worked well, places for improvement and the opportunity ahead.

Global News: Expect to see more from Jets goalie tandem going forward. That’s a good thing since the normally rock-solid tandem hasn’t been rock-solid this season.
