Note: The Jets went up against the undefeated (in regulation) Golden Knights in Vegas last night to kick off a three-game road trip which had their special teams been special could have been a victory as they played well at 5 on 5. Unfortunately for Winnipeg their special teams were not special and they ultimately lost the game 5-2 as they fell to 4-4-2 on the season. Today they are in Arizona where they will practice ahead of tomorrow’s matinee against the Coyotes.
Note II: It was a practice day on Thursday for the Moose were at the downtown rink as they prepared for the weekend meeting with the IceHogs which they will host to kick off four straight at home.
Note III: Jets associate coach Scott Arniel confirmed yesterday that winger Gabe Vilardi won’t skate during road trip.
Note IV: Jets goalie prospect Dom DiVincentiis is out week-to-week with an injury as per his head coach in North Bay.
Note V: Who has Jets related questions? Ken Wiebe and Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press have opened their mailbag for your questions. Send them a DM if you’d like an answer to your query.

Sportsnet: 32 Thoughts. Number 27 touches on Dylan Samberg being one of three players with ‘100 minutes at five-on-five and zero goals against’. Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press asked Jets associate coach Scott Arniel about that yesterday following morning skate and lo and behold a goal was scored against number 54. Think it’s obvious who is to blame.
