Breaking News: Jets sign Connor Hellebuyck and Mark Scheifele to seven-year contract extensions.
Note: For the second straight day the Jets were off but there was some news as three players were placed on waivers in order to be compliant ahead of the 4 pm CDT this afternoon deadline to submit a cap compliant roster. They are now at 23 players. Today they are scheduled to skate and we shall have to wait and see if Nikolaj Ehlers is on the ice after getting a few days off the ice.
Note II: The Moose had back-to-back days of intra squad games this past weekend. Today at 10 AM CDT the non-game group will practice while at 1 pm the game group of Moose will face the Bisons in an exhibition game at hockey for all centre.
Note III: NCAA college hockey is back and Jets 2022 1st rounder Rutger McGroarty and his Michigan Wolverines split their two-game set with Providence. The forward had one assist in game one and then one goal and three assists in game two.

National Post: Bowness confident in Jets’ goaltending group. It was something we discussed on Saturday’s IC Hockey Show. That all parties involved seem to be signaling that there may be a reduction in the games for number 37 with the confidence they have in his backup.
