Note: With training camp set to get underway this Wednesday the quiet time across the NHL is about to come to an end. The Jets prospects played the Canucks prospects yesterday at the Young Stars Tournament which saw them comeback to win 3-2 in a shootout. Next up will be the Flames prospects today with puck drop at 11 AM CT.

Note II: While not directly Jets or Moose related there was some news on Sunday which impacted a former member of the organization as former assistant coach of Winnipeg/head coach of Manitoba Pascal Vincent was named head coach of the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Jets news:

NHL.com: Brad Lambert staying up to speed on way to Jets. The organization has to want the 2022 1st rounder to be hungry but also cautionary that spending time marinating in the AHL isn’t a bad thing if that is where he ends up.

Winnipeg Free Press: Next generation Jets storm back for win. (Paywall). Mike recaps yesterday’s contest which saw the Jets go down before they came back to force extra time before winning it in a shootout.
