Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Your source for all the latest Jets, Moose & Ice news, video and audio.

Note: The Jets, for the most part, stayed off the ice on Sunday as they recover from an exhausting double OT contest the night before last. We did hear from some players and head coach Rick Bowness. One player who did skate was Nikolaj Ehlers although we won’t know until today if he’s been medically cleared to play in game 4. There is also expected to be a recall from the Moose with the injury to Josh Morrissey although they aren’t likely (maybe) to see the ice. Morning skate gets underway at 11 AM. All the relevant news will be posted in the pre-game report so check back for that. Puck drop is at 8:30 PM CDT.

Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Vegas, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Playoff Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of game 4.

Note II: The Moose were off on Sunday although there was some news regarding the AHL club of Winnipeg as it was announced that the Jets had assigned Danny Zhilkin (2022 3rd rounder) from the OHL to Manitoba. They are scheduled to practice this morning at 10:3o AM.

Note III: The Ice will try to win their second round series against the Warriors this evening in Moose Jaw in game 6 as they currently hold a 3-2 series edge. Puck drop is at 8 PM CDT.
