The public safety restrictions put in place and set to go until February 8th limited capacity to 250 in a venue like Canada Life, home of the Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose.
According to Scott Billeck of the Winnipeg Sun:
The #NHLJets will be allowed 50% capacity as long as everyone is fully immunized.
This will mean a lot more than 250 fans can be in the stands to watch NHL and AHL hockey in Winnipeg.
Scott added:
The new public health orders will come into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8 and will remain in place until Tuesday, Feb. 22.
So this means for the weekend games for the Moose against the Stars they will remain at 250 capacity but it would mean that the Tuesday game for the Jets against the Wild will be at 50% capacity.
