Similar to the Jets email to season ticket holders that went out this afternoon their AHL club Manitoba also sent out an email to season ticket holders advising that they would be limiting the number of fans at their next four home games to 250 (in keeping with provincial health orders). These tickets are now also available to the general public as well.
Here is that email from the Moose:
Due to current provincial health orders limiting large gatherings, the Manitoba Moose games on January 22, 23, 29 and 30 will be played with a limited capacity of 250 fans.
Tickets are now available to purchase in groupings of one to four VIP seats to any, or all, of the games. Seats will be in Sections 117 to 123 and 217 to 222. When looking for seats please use the filtering functions on our interactive seat map to find the available seats for your request – blocks of two and four seats cannot be broken up.
VIP PACKAGES – $40 per seat per game includes:
· Jan. 22 – Ticket and Moose Toque
· Jan. 23 – Ticket and Moose Military Ball Cap
· Jan. 29 – Ticket and Winnipeg Jets Mixing Glass
· Jan. 30 – Ticket and Moose Bobblehead
· Please note that the Manitoba Moose Military Appreciation, Project 11 and Bobblehead Giveaway promotions will be rescheduled to later dates.
You can buy VIP tickets here and regular seats here.
The Moose have been playing really well sitting 2nd in the Central division with a 20-9-2-1 record and are currently on a six game road trip which has seen them go 4-0-1-0. They will hope to keep that going against Iowa tomorrow night before they return home for a pair of games against the Wolves this weekend.
While 250 may not seem like a lot, not having fans in the stands for the last few games has obviously really dulled the atmosphere inside Canada Life Centre. Given that Moose fans (usually lots of kids present) bring quite a bit of energy to games that small number could have the potential to make the games feel like there are quite a lot more folks inside the arena.
