The Jets were off on Friday after a return from a road trip that saw them win twice and lose once. However with three players and video coach Matt Prefontaine going into covid protocols before the game on Thursday in Colorado it did leave open the possibility for more players or staff potentially being impacted.
As well there is the lingering question about Paul Stastny who is obviously dealing with something non-covid related as he was described by interim head coach Dave Lowry as a game-time decision and ultimately didn’t play against the Avalanche.
