Note IV: Goalie Eric Comrie was voted by the local chapter of PHWA as the Winnipeg Jets nominee for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy. He spoke today about receiving this nomination. Speaking of Comrie he will be backing up Laurent Brossoit tonight as he and Dominic Toninato were recalled from the taxi squad on an emergency basis.

TSN: Should Jets be worried about output from the Connor/Scheifele/Wheeler line? The Jets have lost eight of their last nine games, and the top line of Kyle Connor, Mark Scheifele, and Blake Wheeler have struggled offensively. How concerned should Winnipeg be as the season winds down? TSN’s Sara Orlesky has more.

TSN: Jets digging deep to finish regular season. With three games remaining in the regular season, the Jets say that they will have to self-motivate, and find the emotion to rise to the occasion for the final stretch, which could be a bit of a challenge with a playoff spot secure and no fans in attendance.

Global News:  Cole Perfetti eyeing Jets’ camp heading into summer. For the folks who are wanting him called up this season the more realistic option (aside from as a black ace during playoffs) will be him finishing off the AHL season with the Moose (ends next Sunday).  He is doing a lot of good things down on the farm and getting opportunities he simply wouldn’t be getting with the NHL club.
