Winnipeg Sun: Jets, Habs missing key leaders… Harkins kept chin up on taxi squad. Who is gonna step up in the absence of 26. While Harkins won’t be stepping up in that role it will be interesting to see what he brings after being out of the lineup since February 19th.

TSN: Maurice on Wheeler’s absence: ‘We’ve got other men that need to fill Blake’s role’. With Blake Wheeler absent due to an injury he sustained against the Ottawa Senators, the Winnipeg Jets will take on the Montreal Canadiens without their captain. Head coach Paul Maurice spoke about the need for leadership from other players with Wheeler sidelined, while Pierre-Luc Dubois spoke about how they’ll miss the captain on the bench.
